The Pro Lure Live Cray has landed! Following over 2 years since pen went to paper on the project. Measuring in at 80mm the Live Cray is an extremely versatile creature bait in both fresh and salt water. Initially designed to imitate the fresh water cray/yabbie for chasing Bass and Yellowbelly but will be at home in the salt for all your regular estuary and inshore hunters. The lure can also be quickly trimmed down to replicate a prawn or crab. Featuring a split belly design to assist weedless rigging, ribbed belly and claws for added vibration in the water and an extensive range of 11 colours. We are really looking forward to see what these lures produce in the hands of anglers across the country.

LIVE CRAY PRIMARY TARGET SPECIES

Bass, Yellowbelly

OTHER PROVEN LIVE CRAY TARGET SPECIES

All Species that target Yabbies. Big bream, flathead, jewfish, inshore reef dwellers.

HOW AND WHERE TO USE THE LIVE CRAY

Fish natural or man made structures, deep edges and weedbeds. Hit the fresh water around submerged logs and other common snags for Bass and Perch.

LIVE CRAY TIPS

  • The Live Cray can be fished on a range of jighead weights, from very light hidden-weight jig heads, to heavy
    jigheads and also weedless.
  • Select the right weight for the structure you are fishing. For a slow sink rate presentation a 1/20th – 1/4 regular jighead is a good starting point for fishing deeper sections.
  • Fish the Live Cray slowly. Small subtle movements with the odd flick like a fleeing yabbie
