Jackall Chubby Popper 42 Fishing Lure

The Chubby Popper has proven itself over the last few years as a go-to popper for bream, whiting, bass and many other species. These small poppers can but used as a conventional popper with a straight blooping retrieve or will walk the dog when twitched across the surface. These poppers were designed to sit lower in a water than other poppers and allows for a better hook up rate and presentation to weary fish.

The Chubby Popper 42 is a relatively small lure, which makes it suitable for targeting smaller fish species such as bream, whiting, and bass. However, it can also be effective for larger species such as barramundi, mangrove jack, and trevally.

The lure is often used in shallow water, along the edges of weed beds, and around structures such as rocks or fallen trees. Anglers will typically use a "pop and pause" retrieve to create the popping action on the water's surface, which can entice fish to strike.
