What are your opening hours?

We are open from 9am to 5pm from Tuesday to Friday, and from 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on Mondays.

As a small business, we pride ourselves on curating a select range of fishing gear that meets our high standards. We only stock products we trust and would use ourselves, ensuring quality and reliability for our customers. We love stocking Australian made products, and aim to support as many other local fishing businesses as we can!

Why don't you stock brands like Zman, TT Lures and Chasebaits anymore?

At Bait Master Fishing and Tackle, our aim is to provide a diverse range of quality fishing gear. You might have noticed that some popular brands that were previously available at Mike's Fishing and Tackle are missing from our shelves. This situation is the result of industry dynamics that sometimes occur in competitive markets, where certain entities may influence brand availability. Additionally, as a smaller store, our capacity to stock some larger brands can be limited.

While we cannot provide these specific brands currently, it’s not for lack of trying. We understand this may be disappointing, and we share your sentiment. If you feel strongly about seeing these brands in our store, you have the power to make a difference. Absolutely! As a small store, we don't have the capacity to keep huge amounts of stock like our bigger competitors. We understand that our customers might occasionally need specific items that we don't carry as standard stock. In these instances, we're more than happy to look order in these products for you.

How can I place an order with Bait Master Fishing and Tackle?

Placing an order is simple and can be done either through our website or by visiting our store in Maroochydore. On our website, browse our selection, add items to your cart, and follow the checkout process. If you prefer a more personal touch or need assistance, feel free to visit us or send us a message.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods for your convenience, including major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), PayPal, AfterPay and Zip. Cash is always appreciated for instore purchases!

Is it safe to make a payment on your website?

When will my order be processed and sent?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST are processed and dispatched on the same. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be sent the next business day. If there are any issues with product availability or shipping issues, we will contact you immediately via email.

Rods and bulky items take a little longer as the items have to be carefully packed and a courier booked. We will keep you up-to-date via email.

Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?

If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can adjust your order if it hasn't been processed or shipped yet. However, once an order is on its way, we're limited in the changes we can make, but we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you offer 'buy it now, pay later' options?

Yes, we offer AfterPay and Zip on orders over $60, allowing you to buy now and pay later in four interest-free installments. It's available for instore and online purchases.

How do I know my order has been successfully placed?

Once you've placed your order, you'll receive an order confirmation email from us. This email will include your order details, the total cost, and a unique order number. If you don't receive this email shortly after placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us to ensure your order was processed correctly.

How do you ship orders, and which carriers do you use?

We primarily ship orders through Australia Post to ensure reliable and efficient delivery across Australia. For larger or special items, we use Aramex and Sendle couriers. We choose the best carrier based on your order's size and destination to provide a smooth delivery experience.

What are your shipping rates?

Standard shipping starts at $9.95 AUD for smaller items. Rates for larger items like rods and bulky gear are provided upon request. We offer free shipping on orders over $80, excluding oversized items.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes, we offer Express Post shipping for $14.95 AUD (excludes large and bulky items).

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times can vary depending on your location. After your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number, allowing you to follow your order's journey. Please note, once a parcel is lodged with Australia Post, we're unable to control delivery times or delays.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely! Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use this number on the carrier's website to track your order's journey to your doorstep.

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, our focus is on serving customers within Australia. However, if you're interested in international shipping, please contact us directly to discuss possible options and rates.

Is in-store pickup available for online orders?

Yes, we offer free in-store pickup for our customers. Simply select 'local pickup' at checkout and we'll notify you when your order is ready to be collected from our Maroochydore store.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from the day you receive your item. To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original, unused condition with all tags attached and must be accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.

How do I initiate a return?
